Visiting you at home just before your baby is born I will provide you with a sensitive and fun record of the beginning of your child's journey through those important early years.
"In September, 2008, Carole Niven travelled to our house to photograph myself and my partner as an artistic record of my pregnancy. The following February we visited Carole in her studio to take photos of our now 3 person family. Carole's photos, both in our home setting and in her studio are beautifully presented, high quality records of the time. She managed to capture moods and moments we would never have managed to do ourselves, and her lighting and photography skills show us at our best. We also found the sittings to be very enjoyable - a friendly, fun time (even for those of us who hate being photographed), and her capturing of our son's smiles, as well as our last moments together as a 2 person family have provided cherished memories. I love working with children and believe that photography sessions should be fun for them. I do not pose them in a formal way, instead we have fun so that their personalities shine through. I use a plain background creating a contemporary image. Parents have a large number of images from which to choose, ordering online, password protected.
